haha, that never crossed my mind..I guess it's still covered with glass so the rain won't come in..and it rains very very seldom in Abu Dhabi as well so I think it won't be a big problem :)

if you see those geometric ancient maps in Louvre or every famous museum around the world, in all of that maps its written PERSIAN GULF, not the a**bian gulf. the Persian Gulf is a historical name of this sea and cannot be changed or Distorted. thanks for your online tour. #persian_gulf

You're most welcome!:) Yes, tickets are available on the spot also but it seems like you have to queue for some time as there are lots of people visiting especially now that it just opened. I highly recommend, if you want to, to just book the tickets online to save and have more time to enjoy the museum :)

A museum which aims to show humanity in a new light? Seriously? Thousands of migrant workers were, and still are, treated like modern slaves in the construction of the entire Saadiyat Island including the Louvre. While the concept of the museum is a truely humanistic idea, the economics an politics behind it are not. One should really ask himself if you want to support such practices.
