Men who have the Western world’s most common genetic disorder, haemochromatosis, are ten times more likely to develop liver cancer, according to a major new study conducted at University of Exeter Medical School.
One of the co-authors of the study, Dr Janice Atkins, shares further details on the research findings, in this presentation delivered to the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Genetic Haemochromatosis in December 2020.
