On a wet and windy Thursday the 5th of October morning I visited Hellifield Station in North Yorkshire to see The Dalesman, trains where being delayed at Leeds due to a Pantograph Fire on an Electric Trans Pennie Express train at Leeds Main station.
The 5Z40 Carnforth Steamtown to Hellifield Goods Loops with Steam Train Serria Leone 45627 (45562) arrived and ran around the station to the other side where it uncoupled and ran around it service coach and recoupled, it then ran around the station and took water at the water column and the fire fed coal.
Finally once the lines was clear Serria Leone 45627 (45562) ran around the station and coupled up to The Dalesman Coaches, and then set off north for the Settle and Carlisle route.
