I really like this model. Looking forward to painting her once I get the expansion. Might take a while though, since I'm still going through Frozen Horror. For some reason I enjoy painting those models a lot more than the Mage in the Mirror-ones. On a side note, I just got my hands on Prophecy of Telor and Spirit Queen's Torment, and I was wondering if and how you're going to cover those sets? I mean, there isn't really anything new in there, just alternate models for familiar monsters and a couple heroes you've already painted on video. Still, some kind of guide for the variants would be much appreciated.

Maybe you feel the same way I do, those Frozen Horror minis are so much more stylized and interesting. Unfortunately I won't be covering them. The variant sculpts of Telor and Torment were included (not as transparent plastic) as part of the original 2021 Pre-Order of Hero Quest. Like you pointed out, they're monster's we've already seen and I painted them alongside respectively. Sorry to disappoint!

@@notyourmothershobbies I thought as much. It would be rather repetitive, unless you'd try to make something wildly different with them. No biggie. It only means we'll be getting to the Ogre Horde sooner rather than later. The ogres were a huge highlight of the Mage in the Mirror expansion, so I'm really hyped for that.

Are you using the same brush for metallics and non metallics? Doesn’t that roach your brush really fast? Are you doing any sort of thorough cleaning to keep its point sharp?

Same brush. I'm pretty rough on my equipment but I'm cheap as hell and just learn to adapt and go with it for as long as I can haha. You're absolutely right about that kind of wear and tear. I honestly just rinse my brushes and that's about it. I don't go out of my way to bash them up though and try to maintain my points and never let paint dry in the bristles.
