As far as control decks go, Control Blood has probably the worst matchup into combo decks out of all of them, Sure it has ways to mitigate burst and some builds have excessive amounts of healing but its mitigation is nowhere near what is necessary to stave off combo for long enough to try and go for a win. It is still quite effective at staving off aggro with copious options for healing, AoE and disruption, being able to comfortably slot in elta's and dawns splendor without hindering the consistency of its gameplan. Mask of the Black death, although not the best mitigation compared to other options is still a card that can buy valuable time being able to aborb more damage than its countdown. These factors combined make it one of the best decks at actually reaching turn 10 to proc both giln and zelg invokes which are game-winning effects to proc for both disruption and damage. Being a very slow deck it can also just slot in UBaha even without actively trying to proc him as games can sometimes last long enough that you just naturally spent enough hard play points for his invoke. Another thing I really like about the control blood shell is how flexible it is with your options for disruption and wincon that you can really personalize it to whatever you're facing. However since this is still UL that mostly just means making a 35% winrate to a 45% winrate for certain matchups but you've all heard that song and dance before
