I got a friend that got a really expensive Carbon Core 650 hexacopter with x6 Avroto 2814 motors and the Wookong FC , he needs on that beast x2 5000mah 4s lipos in parallel to fly almost 15 minutes , i was looking to build something as large or larger that can fly a good amount of time with lighter battery setup and your quad setup was the answer , on my future 700 i might used 3010 1035kv motors on 3s lipo with one ingle 6000mah 3s or 8000mah 3s lipo . Thanks for all your help .

nice like the rctimer 360kv :) I got it. They are of lower kv and require more cell battery .minimum4 I saw.

Pancake motors is a nick name, if you wish, for special BLDC motors with more poles than common BLDCs and they are more like disc shape that is why they are called "pancake" motors. It's a slang expression. These motors have higher efficiency and are mainly developed for multirotor use, although you can use them on the airplanes too.

Yes, SunnySky are good quality motors. ATG frame was also ok for the price. I returned to quad though, I mainly do FPV and not necessarily need hexa for that.

I don't have it anymore but the total weight of copter including 3S 3000 mAh Lipo was around 1600 g.

For ATG 700 I would go for a bit larger motors, like 2216 or so. I think for mine 2212 are just about right but people usually use bigger motors on them. I don't plan to carry heavy camera on it, so for me those are just ok.

Possibly. My friend has them and they are pretty effective. These days pancake motors are most probably much better choice for the multirotors.

It's pretty strong, spare parts available at omgfly[dot]com. There is a thread about the frame at rcgroups, just search for it.
