Many of our home managers and deputies have been with us for many years, working their way up the career ladder after starting as a casual or residential support worker. We enrol all of our residential support workers (including casuals) onto the Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare after 6 months of working for us. Once qualified, they can then apply for senior / team leader roles.
Our award-winning and innovative training programme includes the Aspiring Leadership Programme and Advanced Leadership Programme (ALP), both of which are accredited for Unit 3 of the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare. ALP qualifications are offered to seniors, deputies and managers to provide them with experiences and learning, which helps them to understand the concepts of management and leadership and enables them to put these into practice whilst progressing in their career with us.
