I’m coming up on 1K miles on mine. I have two batteries because I need the second one to get up hills. I wish it was a 500W but I can do all my grocery and laundry trips with ease. I’m five miles from any bike lanes so I have a huge hill on the return trip. With the two batteries I can bike for about six hours but I always pedal. I cannot ride without the electric so in many ways this is my wheelchair. After my fourth heart attack I cannot walk, skate or bike on hills. After 800 miles on my bike I got my first clean bill of cardiac health in twenty years. I highly recommend this bike for people who have the same issues as I do, but I would still recommend a 500W motor to climb hills.

Good review. For the handlebar grip problems, just wrap them with tennis racket/pickleball paddle replacement grips. That will address all problems mentioned.

Is the screen easy to read on the move? I'm thinking about wearing polarized sun glasses. They can distort the view.

It is easy to read. For being black and white, it is very large and easy to see. I prefer backlit colored screens. This is the standard though.

Are these e bikes suitable to use only with the electric option? I can’t ride a bike due to physical limitations and want to make sure pedaling isn’t necessary for the 40 miles it says it does.
@CuriosityCafe

Yes, I almost always use it as an electric scooter. Pedaling not necessary

Is the rear basket attachment detachable or is it stuck to the back rack? I’m planning to get one but I can’t decide between the back saddle or the rear basket
@CuriosityCafe

Everything is detachable. I love customizing my e-bikes. You'll see in some of the newer models we've reviewed how many awesome accessories you can get. We even have a "customizing your ebike" video on our ebike channel NRG Sports

Nothing is glued. The model I have has a back rack, not a basket. You can add or remove anything you want.

Yeah, they will send you the basket and you have to put it on. All ebikes are that way. You will build it

What they should have done is made it where the tires can be fat so you can ride this on road or off-road or bring it they should use mountain bike tires or they should use fat tires for in the winter time that's one thing I would have done. My second thing I will add a water bottle holder on the bike frame. Third thing I would build a built-in bike rack for the back of the bike and paint it neon orange or neon yellow. My third choice would be for this bike have all different colors. Instead of thumb throttle heaven twister shifter. And have a tracking device in the frame and have two mirrors on each side of the bike but they have to be a pretty good size mirrors for me so I can see who's behind me and the flashing light in the back should be flashing light then it should have a left or a right turn signal on there especially for at night time that way people say hey that white person is turning left you better be cautious about him that's another thing I want to do then I would add some kind of like a caring rat for the back to strap it down to your bike that way you can put stuff in it like a box. Have a bike alarm in case if lightning was strike your bike alone will not go off and puncture proof tires that will not go flat on you and if the light has a built-in horn that would be also good I like this bike and this is all the things that I'm passing it on to you people so you people can pass it on to the warehouse people when they're making these bikes and one more thing is have two batteries come with the bike instead of one that way you got one for a backup that you can carry with you and the other one is already in your frame in case if something does happen you can switch it out and put your other one in that's already a full charge that's all I got to say for now. If I had my way of this bike that will be all the features plus mine will be neon yellow in the bike rack would be a neon orange or a neon red

I'm not sure. You can use throttle with or without pedaling. I have three different 2021-2023 Gotrax models here and all are the same. You can also turn off the limiter and get up to about 40mph on these models

Great tips, will keep in mind for next videos. I rode it for only 10 miles. Still has tons of battery - they state 40 mile range. Most e-bikes are much less. They also have a 75 mile range e-bike. I might try that one as well.

You forgot to mention the speed🤔
@CuriosityCafe
Жыл бұрын
Speed is regulated. I unlock ours and all our ebikes can go 30-50mph. But they come regulated by your state (so motor and speed doesn't really matter). Distance, torque, comfort do. Regulations are set by state and most ebikes have speed limiters of 20-25mph. But they can ALL go faster with some modifications. Hope that makes sense.

No such thing with e-bikes. Step thru are very popular for both sexes mainly because of injuries and ease to get on and off. Also a place for water bottles.

Hello thank you for the video but I have a question is the bike waterproof well the electric parts? I live in Arizona and sometimes we get rain out here so I was wondering about the electric interface
@CuriosityCafe

Yes, bike can be ridden in the rain, but I would not let it sit out side for long periods. But getting it wet doesn't seem to affect it short term. You can reach out to the manufacturer for more details with the link we provided in the description.
