Aloy: _"My friend is dead. Beta and GAIA are gone. And you want me to look at old paintings?"_ Tilda: _"Don't be so quick to dismiss the comfort we can find in art. Or the inside we might gain"._

If you listen carefully, Tilda actually has two themes. Starting at 0:35 is the first one. A somber, calculated, seemingly harmless fluttering. I like to think of this as her "Zenith" theme. You'll hear this theme again in the final boss music "Spectre Prime," where it takes a turn for to menacing, oppressive, and belligerent. 2:10 is her second theme. Much slower, more melancholy. This theme plays cinematically at the end of the game when Tilda reveals just how deeply she loved Lis, and how far she'll go to bring Lis back into her life by stealing Aloy from Earth against her will. There is optional dialog after the final boss if you go back to Tilda's room in the GAIA base. Aloy laments Tilda was just turning her into another piece of her collection. Tilda was corrupted by the Zeniths' stagnant way of life, and her love of Lis was twisted by a thousand years of lament over losing the only person she ever loved. I wish we had seen more of Tilda.

You know, I have some theory that Tilda didn't die and cheated Aloy after her failure. Remember that Zeniths have far more advanced technology than Old Ones. They used nanotech and were immortal. Gosh, I wonder if we will visit in Horizon 3 memory of Sirius. I doubt we will ever see Far Zenith's colony at Sirius.

It's a shame they didn't put this version into album. I think this is better than OST version.

Hilda's theme combining this sort of Early Music sound and Techno is 10/10. This version with voice just elevates it tbh.

A delightful musical composition, captures both essence of wonder and omniscience. It hits differently from all tracks, listening to it brings a quality to the ambience unheard of.

Indeed, interactivity with tilda was like..... super alien, like an unbound magical presence before you

@@copypasta9563 the feeling as both player and Aloy was almost surreal, as the game shifted from desperate times of the death of a loved to an almost respite solace. The artwork themselves were not captivating if not were for the melody and ambience of Tildas choosing. The deliberate operatic voice sounds super imposed and monochromatic, as if were recorded from a poor analog device mixed with a futuristic industrial composition. The old meets new: a reflection of meeting between Aloy and Tilda. A relic of the past and the future collide together, bound into conflict sooner or later.

Thank you so much for posting this! I adore the track on the OST and wasn't even aware there was an opera version. I personally love how Tilda's theme plays again on "Second Chance" too.

oh man thank you for recording and sharing this! I love the version on the soundtrack but THIS version is just SO wonderful! It's baffling as to why it was excluded from the OST, but at least now I can loop your version!

I first thought that this Theme was made by Niels van der Leest (Not because of the name, but because of how similar it is to Legacy’s Landfall), then when I saw Singular Purpose was made by The Flight, I assumed that Figments of Time was also made by them. I was very confused because it doesn’t sound like their style, but I was digging it. Then I listened to Reunion and Shelter From the Storm, I was like “Hold up, wait a minute… Something ain’t right.” I had to listen to it again and then I noticed it was way too similar, only to realize that it was actually made by Joris de Man… 🤦♂️ That still doesn’t explain the Opera, because it was featured in the Cauldron GEMINI Scene Music which was made by Oleksa Lozowchuk (you can tell by the style). I’m just going to assume the Opera Version is made by both Joris de Man and Oleksa Lozowchuk. With that being said, there were these Themes called ‘A Wanderer’s Work’ and ‘Aloy’s Journey’ which had some distorted singing in between the Theme. The point is that usually these vocals aren’t done by Julie Elven or Melissa R. Kaplan, but that’s just my view.

Is this a digital recording or is it a cell phone placed near the speakers recording it? It sounds tinny at times, but maybe that's the actual song. Either way it's beautiful.

This is recorded from in game using the PS5, so thats how the audio is in game. The reason it sounds tinny is because the opera singer part is actually not part of the audio track but the SFX instead, which is a shame because i wanted a version without all that background noise. I will be uploading a different version of this theme this week but it only has a very little part with the opera singer on it.

It plays in the art gallery sound system for Aloy. It's not from the game soundtrack, it's how it is reproduced in-game. Guy is a legend for just being able to record it so clearly.
