To add extra weight you can install wheel hub weights as well

Brushless even with the snap off the line you can adjust your throttle response and throttle delay to cut down on the jump off the line

Dennis. I think the new hobbywing axe 550 set up will fix your brushless issue. I just don't know if the 550 can will fit the v8 unless is the size as yours. RC review has a demo, just wanted you to know if you haven't seen it.

Hey so I did it got a hg p407 was wondering if you you could share a list of upgrades for it like a roll bar and tires light kit I want my truck to look like yours

Great to hear you got one! The roll bar from the tamiya mountaineer is a direct fit, ebay sells lots of spare parts trees for them and they fit the HG-P407 also, what tires did you like?

I got 2 bruiser's in storage & both are broken . Never had luck ! Bought the Hp & most part's are interchangeable. I have no interest going to brushless or any kind of high power LOL it would just rip the body off . I thought about putting brushless in the clod-buster! But I have a feeling it wouldn't turn out well ! Technologies has changed 💯⌛ . I think the bruiser is the Pinnacle of cool ! You got some nice rigs & thanks for the vids always cool see 😃🙌

Thanks! yeah brushless can be brutal on a rig, lol well now you can piece your bruisers back together with the hg parts, Back in the 80s I wired my clod up in series 14.4 volts, it was a blast till the resistor melted down lol, wish i filmed that! I can still hear those gears violently winding out...lol

@@dennisdempseyradiooutofcontrol yeah I feel ya ! I had the need for speed until I found out speed takes the fun away when it becomes uncontrollable. I bought the Traxxas xo1 & it got long in the tooth ! Car leaving the pavement & disintegrating at 115mph ! 50 or 60 is my sweet spot build for comfort not speed guess .LOL

Ive been thinking about getting one of these bodies, But i cant find any measurements on just the body size......wheel well center to center and the width. Ive watched a few of your videos and i see you have plenty of these. Would it be a bother to ask you for measurements?

no problem, the wheel well center to center is approximately 290mm (11.5)inches, the with is 195mm (7.75)

LiL Hustler if you look on the top side of the center axle housing remove the small set screw and install the supplied long set screw pin to do this carefully put the pin in the hole and slowly rotate the axle till it falls in place , tighten the pin and reinstall the small set screw.

I have used childrens play-doh insided the diffs instead of grease. U can get thus a partial lock for a lot of extra traction for crawling and still have the benefits of a working diff....
