As a car driver I try to be mindful of how much room you guys need to manoeuvre. Bugs me when others don't and start creeping forward before you've finished too, as if that'll get them there any quicker! PSA to car drivers, put your handbrake on and wait until the lorry has finished! Anyway Kev great editing, you keep it interesting. My husband (HGV driver) and I both subscribed today.

Rough old day Kev,I suppose thats why you see lots of trailers with the one mudguard over the three axels,if you get a tyre blow it does not do so much damage

I'd say take your time and don't let others rush you because that's the cause of accidents even if there beeping at you. 👍

4:20 id of told the guy to get screwed, the load is getting strapped where it is if he dont like it then tough, he can take the load back off the trailer, only person n company its gonna effect are those sending it out

Exactly 💯 agree with you, to strap it on a public road it's the same penalty as just driving without it being strapped on public road. Might as well say you don't need to strap it just drive on 😆 You heard him it's an an adopted road which is still public road 😄

What would happen if u had blow out on off side ? On motorway? Would the police have to assist with cones ? Divert traffic? ...how many blow outs have u had since trucking darlin ?😊

If it was a blow out on the driver's side then might need assistance for tyre repair but didn't need it this time, and my first blow out.. hopefully my last 😆

Are you sure that was a _random_ blowout after you had an argument at that yard? I can't see anything suspicious about the tyre on video, so I'm probably being paranoid.

Lol, I can see where you coming from but they weren't that bad people, I just told him as a driver I'm not strapping up on public roads.. The company that came out to me on the motorway he said it's happened because it was a retread and it's common issue. A retread is basically just a strip of tyre that melt it on to the old one and it's not a 100% seal and that's how it's blow like it did. 🙂

@Anonymous-Kev re tread on tyre ....that sounds really unsafe ! Im surprised its allowed to be honnest ! ....glad twer'nt offside . As for the straps situation ...i couldnt believe my ears ! How could any company expect anyone to chuck straps over on a road where cars are ? Hope your boss sorted it ....

@JaneRoss-ff3wp retread are normally cheaper to repair, yep don't let companies tell you where to strap your to blame if your in the wrong so strap where it's safe and private land

That blowout you had Kev, you are EXTREMELY lucky that it wasn't your drives and/or your steers. If so, you won't be making videos for us anymore. Though one good thing about the speeds in the UK is trucks can only do 56 mph on the motorway. Here in the states, it's 65 or 70 mph depending on states. The further west you the higher the speed is. I've seen blowouts happen on trucks and there are no survivors at all, very rare do drivers live. Even on the trailers, a multitude of things can happen.
