For 23 years i wove music into my life. This game truly felt like it was made for me, all of this time i wanted to perfect my rhythm, losing it sometimes to scattered thoughts and concepts to ponder, suffice to say this game changed this, from the "Dance with Korsica" to the "Wolfgang" fight. Everything culminated in "Invaders Must Die", one of my favorite bands, playing my favorite tunes, completely out of nowhere. A wide grin slid across my face as i felt like a kid again, excited, giddy even. Absolutely stormed that level, thought and input became one and that's when i truly FELT the music. Like actually actively swam with the current, stopped worrying, a feeling of existing fully in the moment, there was no keyboard, mouse, screen, game. Just thought, rhythm and input, as if you were one with the virtual and that was AMAZING. Suffice to say i could never replicate this feeling but for a game to move me to my core, teach me to "let go and be in the moment" even for a few exquisitely crafted minutes, well, last time that happened was 15 years ago and Hi-Fi Rush will stand in my Top 3 until the end of my time.

30:52 VOID STRANGER MENTIONED!! Krafton picking up Tango has me /cautiously/ hopeful for their future; the massive wave of similar acquisitions by Embracer ended up being totally unsustainable, and I don't think it panned out great for everyone they picked up - I hope the situation with Krafton is not the same.

Totally understand the cautious optimism. Only time will tell how Hi-Fi Rush's future will be treated, but the people from Tango who made the leap to Krafton have my full support. They're the ones who have the ability to make that future bright. Also, System Erasure rules! If you like them, you might really enjoy the next couple videos I have cooking (whenever they come out lmao)

@@SiGNet_GM System Erasure kicks ass. ZeroRanger ensured I was day one on Void Stranger, and they now have me by the throat for whatever they do next, even if Black Onion never releases.

I get where you're coming from, but I have a ton of issues with it still. I think it represents some of the worst practices of modern Capcom 1. Online play is required, even if you're playing solo with bots. 2. The survival pass is just like other modern battle passes, built to take your time and money. 3. The game is done receiving seasonal updates, but you can't select which survival pass track you want to work on like in games like Halo Infinite or Deep Rock Galactic. They're on a monthly rotation, so if you have a specific one you're interested in, you'll have to wait multiple months to progress it. This is almost definitely done to try to boost player retention and keep them coming back every month. 4. All of this is attached to a game that is still full price. There's care and passion put into all the games I showed during that comment, but they're still designed to take advantage of the player for profit, imo.
