While that’s a common thing about drumming I’ve heard for years I’ve come to believe it’s false (based on myself personally) I’ve noticed when I played on a smaller kit my tempo was better and the basics were more solid, but when I transferred to my current big kit with 7 toms my fills and creativity got better and I find it much more fun that way!

@@tonytwelves1259 My take is that you spend more time on the same tom, if you've only ogt one. You'll either have to split the practice, or double the time to get the same amount of przctice on two. but then again, I'm no drummer

That was so smooth. He didn’t have show off his chops the entire time like too many drummers. I’m sure he puts work in, but I’d have to play 10 hours a day, just to get his technique. I know I’ll never have a groove like that. He’s the perfect example of god given talent. KZitem allows us to see guy’s that could play like that. This might be controversial to some, but in Peat’s prime RIO, he could NEVER come up with anything like that. Luck, and who ya know is what makes stars *with exceptions. Brilliant stuff
