When I researched 7-Eleven in Alishan, it seems that there are three. Each elevation is 2050m, 2178m and 2200m. Looking at old information, the altitude of the highest 7-Eleven in Taiwan was 2050m. On the website dated 2022, it was written that the 7-Eleven at an altitude of 2200m is the highest in Taiwan. Yesterday (June 4th), I saw a KZitem video called "Currently Hannah". Hannah is Australian and lives in Japan. She recently went to Taiwan. I watched her latest video (Taiwan's Most Beautiful Hike - Jiaming Lake) and was blown away by the beautiful scenery. As she said in the video, Taiwan is about the same size as Kyushu and has 268 mountains over 3000m (Japan only has 21!). Also, Japan's highest mountain is Mount Fuji (3776m), while Taiwan's highest mountain is Yushan at 3952m! I think that the charm of Taiwan is not only the delicious food, but also the wonderful nature.

I'm surprised that Taiwan is so much more mountainous than Japan, yet so much smaller! And thank you for checking out the 7-11 thing for me. It must have been an outdated website I was reading. 😊😊

I like your in-depth way of traveling Taiwan such as FENQIHU. This is the right way to discover the beauty of Taiwan. Didn't you find that there were no other western tourists while you were strolling at FENQIHU? You were maybe the only western couple at that day. There are a lot of places like FENQIHU for tourists to find out. This is why you can come back to Taiwan again and again and each time you will still find something amazing!😀
@TalesFromOurPocket
Жыл бұрын
Yes, you are right!! We didn't see any other western visitors in Fenqihu. To be honest, they are missing out. The city was delightful!
As a Taiwanese, I can confirm that the highest 7-11, along with the highest convenient store in Taiwan, is the one in Alishan at 2,200m (there are two 7-11 in Alishan, the one in the bus terminal is 30m lower). However, the one at Fenqihu was the highest when it was opened in 2005, it is also the 4000th 7-11 store in Taiwan.

-0K+300 means zero kilometer plus 300 meters into the trail. -Some Taiwanese count years in Republic of China years alongside the Gregorian calendar. Year of 111 is the same as 2022. Just add 1911(when ROC was founded)

The elevation of Fenqihu 7-11 is about 1400 meters, which is lower than the 7-11 at Alishan, at 2200 meters (7217 ft.)! So the latter is the highest convenience store in Taiwan. The +300 means exactly that: how long (in meters) you’ve walked (added) so far. You should’ve seen 0 at the beginning of the trails.
