This film tells the story of Monica, a hidden gem from the remote village of Jagdalpur in the Raipur region. Monica not only cultivates pearls but also crafts stunning jewellery using the traditional Dokra Art, or lost wax technique. In addition, she harvests mushrooms and provides employment to many women in her village. A fierce feminist, Monica turns life's adversities into pearls, inspiring not just the women in her village but women everywhere.
