Thank you for your great work my friend. I think they becomes brighter and gains a bit more treble with 6.35. XLR sounded bit more neutral and with bigger sound stage but position of the headphones sitting on the recording rig or volume matching difference can be the main and only reason for the sound difference. it's hard to say there is a difference from the video without actually listening them. also your track chooses are great as always :) waiting for more sound demos from you!

What are your thoughts about Philips Fidelio X2HR VS DT 990 Pro VS Hifiman HE400SE? 🤔🤔

Thank you! Great video. There is almost no difference. Some difference maybe in big drums on track 3.

I'm using Sennheiser's HDV820, this amplifier is not expensive, you use the same mouse as me, I'm very happy - (Google Translate)

Expensive is always subjektive 😅 I hope hifi exhibitions/shows are coming back to Munich so that I can ab test the differences between my a90/AAA and something "slightly" more expensive. Nevertheless, on my rig with my hd800 on my ears I strongly prefere xlr. Maybe its Something about the current/voltage? More expensive apps can output more power through SE connection?

Somehow, there's ever-so-slightly more definition in the treble with XLR. >_> I think there's something else too... might be lower noise floor, or better channel separation, or sound stage? Can't quite put my finger on it, but it feels like there's slightly more space between the sounds, as in, more blacks between the colors... That's what it feels like, intuitively-speaking.
