It's great to see this fly at last. I've been following along with your projects two years now, and y'all along with other rocket tubers inspired me to get back into rocketry. I flew my L2 at FAR last month, and wish you every success with your L2!

Thank you for following along. Congrats on your L2! :) We have one more video in the series that shows the modifications to the rocket to fly on the J motor, and the next video is the L2 flight. :)

just what we needed. some successfull water rocketry. Our low pressure small test rocket just exploded midair so we needed some mental support just like this. Thanks for sharing this piece of tech with us in such detail. ❤❤

Oh No! ... but I guess that is a part of rocketry. We all have those days from time to time.

sure it happens. Because of so,e miracle only the parachute system exploded so we can redo that and use the pressure vessel again. Best of luck for the l2 and greetings from hamburg

@@AirCommandRockets ohh wow. I remember that day. That was just a few months prior to the NSWRA club reformation (if I recall correctly). I remember those days with such fondness. 🙂

Wow she is such a beauty! It was very satisfying to see you peel off the masking tape to reveal the final paint work. Looking forward to the next episode!

The Horizon 2 stage project is currently our number one focus to get it finally finished and launched. Getting our L2 certification was a part of the process in order to be able to launch Horizon. We will start releasing videos again on the project soon.

Very smooth launch and almost no spin either. You make this look easy(ish!). A J motor sounds pretty powerful - how high will it get as a pyro rocket? Can't wait to see you get back to Horizon as well - you appear to have this launch campaign methodically planned out!

Altitude is around 2,500 feet. on the J. It's amazing the energy density difference between a solid motor and a water rocket. Yup, it's just been too long with the Horizon project. Time to finish it. :)
