Ok, the title isn't fully true. This was actually an out of service trip along the 70 route from Dunboyne (dead run/going light/going special) in other terms. This was filmed 6 years ago back in 2018 when Harristown were on the verge of losing their final AVs with new SG batches on the way, one of which was the much loved AV348. AV348 was known for having very high revs as can be heard in the video and resembles kickdown quite alot. AV348 was a Donnybrooker for most of its life but spent its final days in Harristown. It was withdrawn not too long after this video was taken and was sold to Fitzpatrick's, Monaghan who also had DT1 and DT3. AV348 then moved to Lenister Coaches, Blessington along with DT1 and DT3. It spent a good chunk of time there before ending up with Passenger Travel Solutions, Celbridge who currently still have it. I thankfully got it recently and it still feels and sounds the same although feels and sounds different at the same time. It sucks knowing I can never go back to these days, when buses were buses!
