In this video we explain where the high river Wye levels are being generated from in the catchment. It's a vast area constituting huge whale back hills and ridges and mountains that are of European significance in terms of hydrology.

A friend on youtube Adam - Ceolskog / @adamhelliwell asked. When were the trees felled on the slopes of these big hills and in the valleys? Answer. Trees colonized the British Isles after the last ice age 10,000 years ago. It was during Neolithic period at around about 3,000 BC that the large forests started to be felled.
