The 2025 Honda Prologue will likely enter its second year as the brand's only all-electric SUV without notable change. The Prologue is a significant step in the company's journey toward zero-emissions vehicle sales by 2040. Like the debut model, the 2025 Prologue promises up to 296 miles of range on a single charge.
The midsize Prologue offers seating for five and 25.2 cubic feet of cargo space. With the rear seat folded, the Prologue can hold up to 57.7 cubic feet of family gear. According to reports, Honda may offer an optional third row for seven-passenger capacity.
The carryover interior will come with standard features like an 11.3-inch touchscreen, an 11-inch digital instrument cluster, heated front seats, a power driver seat, dual-zone automatic climate control, and wireless phone charging and mirroring.
We expect the Prologue to continue in single-motor front-wheel drive and dual-motor all-wheel drive configurations. Front-drive models carry a front-mounted electric motor that develops 212 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque. According to EPA estimates, this setup can travel up to 296 miles on a full charge and delivers 107 MPGe in combined city and highway driving.
The available AWD powertrain features front and rear electric motors that currently produce 288 hp and 333 lb-ft of torque. Range dips slightly to 281 miles, and efficiency eases to 101 MPGe combined. The line-topping Elite trim, which comes with the dual-motor system only, has an estimated range of 273 miles and is EPA-rated at 99 MPGe combined.
