Thanks for the info on how to identify. Going outside to check the leaves on tree. We get berries grouped just like the one you showed.

I used some of these leaves to print on paper with paint.They came out beautifully.I cut some stalks to use in an arrangement and then found out what they were called.I put some berries in hot water with lemon and honey.It tasted pretty good.

They become water like rather than opaque and firm

They are tart but I enjoy sweet / tart . Add orange peel when simmering to curb the astringent odor
