Had doubts about Gerrards pedigree as a Premier league manager but particularly in the first half, the long passes were accurate, the imagination in attack excellent, the communication and one-two moves sublime. Far, far better than what Dean's side had become. Mings seems reenergised. Couldn't be a harder test in the next few games. But so far, yes, Gerrards got quality as a manager.
