On the last home game before Christmas the referee, Mr Lewis Dawson, has written out his cards and got straight into the Yuletide spirit, giving cards to everyone who had been naughty or nice alike. One would have thought he would run out, but no, he still had plenty in his back pocket. Not to be outdone in the Yuletide stakes James Curtis kindly gave Buxton a Christmas present of his own, and Rob Ramshaw, seeing how well the Christmas gifts were going, decided to get into the act as well, becoming the first player to get two Christmas cards off Mr Dawson. Santa was obviously watching this game as he decided that the Buxton side deserved all three points, helped by the ever willing Mr Dawson. All joking aside, this was one of the worst displays of refereeing that I have ever seen at this level of football. Maybe the referee panel should take a look at Mr Lewis Dawson and give him an extended break over the holidays On a lighter note, glad to see Lewis Dickman back in harness, hope he regains full fitness soon, whatever happens.
