Second time watching this. Epic journey. I had the pleasure of doing it last year. Those Uinta Mountains are amazing. 😃👍 Congratulations.👍😃

Did this solo in 2016... I came across Davey Crocket, the ultra runner. He was out for a run up Lake Fork drainage then hooked up on the Highline for a mile or two just to turn around and run back... With basically nothing on his person.... Surreal experience seeing folks that deep in with nothing... I'm in his journal entry you can see on his website.. 😎 I departed from Hayden Pass and arriving on north slope at Spirit Lake... planned on 10 and spent 9 days on the trail... packing a Taurus Tracker 44 magnum 4 inch stainless barrel too... Pack weighed 43 pounds at start.... incredible adventure and some of God's finest sculpture'in...

Tim, Awesome video man! I have yet to do the Highline from East to West. I've gone from the West trailhead to Jack and Jill lakes twice, and it's been amazing both times. Thanks for sharing your adventure and being completely honest in your videos. This was inspiring to watch and see the struggle and the accomplishment. I think it's my turn now. Thanks!

Greetings, I would truly appreciate a short list of your gear. "Just a silly video" was very well done. Thanks for publishing it on KZitem.

It is a MLD Trailstar. Made by a company out of Virginia. I have loved it and it has held up well. Also packs down very small.

Did you forget to bring rain gear? Or is there another reason you chose to not hike in the rain?
