I believe that you underestimate your position as an KZitem coin instructor. You are probably in the top 100. I think that you are in the top 10. If not #1, in the top 5. I watch every one of your shows in the last 2 years when I started collecting coins. You the man!!!👍👍👍👍👍

I have this 1980 plain penny and 1980 D penny in a high MS66 grade at least and possibly in MS67+. and a lot more. I can show you all I have. Sorry to be real long winded but this will be, I have wanted to talk to you for some time and now it the time I guess. I watch your videos occasionally when they interest me in the headline. Watched many over the past 2 years. I coin roll searched for 3 years since 2019 and all of 2020 and 2021 and have saved quarters, dimes, nickels and penny varieties, both DD's and error coins I saved. Even found an 1864 2 cent regular motto piece in a quarter roll 2 years ago from the bank - it was was not a customer roll either, in 2020 it was a bank roll from the federal Reserve I was told. Found that odd. I have loads of coins I've saved and not a clue really what they are worth. Some I saved just being in just great condition. and some I saved because they have wild toned coloring. Most are varieties and errors, some never seen before. Have all sorts of error pennies for sure. Some with very unusual errors I can't even identify. I love the varieties and errors most. Now, my y Grandfather gave me 3 penny books back to 1909 when I was a kid I still have and never took any out of them. I added to the books over the years of course.. Some years are duplicated along with the mint marks but not many. Most all are unique and singular. My Grandfather was a huge coin collector and well known in his town in Minot, ND for his collecting. I have added to the books over the years being a penny collector moreover since I was about 8 years old and I'm 56 today. Getting older I had not looked at the books of pennies for years. I never really collected the mint state pennies and know now that they are worth lots if in a high grade of MS65+. The penny books i have contain many high grade pennies back to 1950 for sure. Never realized how much the high grade non variety and non error business strike pennies particularly can be worth till recently. You seem to talk a lot about the MS65+ pennies adn alert everyone on your videos to look out for them. I have many, and knew that but never knew they were worth so much in the high grades, some of them are anyway but which are best or worth the most in those high grades, which years are better than other years? That is what I need to learn fast. So I got out the penny books and found I have several rare key coins and lots of mint state pennies back to about 1950. Some are really sweet though have a few carbon spots adn several are toned in the books. But they are in fantastic condition and my Grandfather went and bought the most mint state coins for those books he could find when he filled them up. From 1950 forward I have each - mostly - penny, D, S and P in date order up to 1982. Many not all of them are for the most part in MS65+ condition and RED. Over 20 pennies are bright and shiny red and are looking great all but some minor carbon spots or toned colorations in rainbow like coloring. The rest are red brown or brown but most back to 1950 are at least red brown and most are red. I want to know their values. Many back to 1909 are in great condition and brown yet some are worn that I added myself or are varieties I put in the books. No 1909 VDB or VDBS or even S but several are 1909 P in the start of it up to 1982. I have several of the noted key coin pennies in the book back to 1909 not all of them but some good ones with really low mintage and in a Fine to VF condition at least. No 1931 of either of the 3 mints. This video made me pull the books out to look to see if I had that year and I do not. But the extra great condition coins I do have in MS condition dating back to 1950 are what really have me thinking I am sitting on some money and never knew it in those alone. I know I have MS65 - 68 pennies years 1960 - 1982 or sure from all mints. They are all the newest looking ones that were put in the books for me in mint condition at the time they were entered into the books. Over time they have darkened little adn some have toned into colors of the rainbow and a few developed small carbon spots is all but they were MS65+ at the time they entered the books and have never been taken out, some as nice as MS68 still today by my estimation but I am not an expert just know they are as nice a some I saw that grade. I have a 1963 Plain penny and nickel that are near MS70 in Proof packaging never opened since they ere put into the holder back in the 70's or early 180's and that same year in business strike for all 3 mints in the pennies that are all of MS67 condition, looking fantastic. I need to have some of the better higher grade ones graded but am scared to do it. Not wanting to waste my money. For a group of pennies what company do you suggest using as a first time customer? How many can I do at a time and how much to they charge for groups? Less if you send in groups than if you send in just one? Can you tell me of the key coins from 1920 forward which are worth having graded in terms of values VF+ only - which are most desirable - and of the 1950 - 1982 which of them if they are all MS65 or better are the ones with the highest premiums right now. I saw the 1968 and 1968 D, I think I have all 3 mints that year in MS 67 and same for the years up to 1982. They are really nice from 1960 forward. I could show you pics of groups of them or as they are in the books if you wanted to see. I sold my 1877 Indian Head penny in 1992 like a fool for only $180 and it was in fine condition so you can not touch that one for under !K today - I m still kicking myself but I bought that for just $3 when I was only 18. I wish I had kept that. But by the looks of it I am sitting on some real money in my MS^%+ pennies from 1950 - 1982. Can you tell me what years to ort out adn to separate that are going to bring the better premiums when in grades over MS56+ in those years. Some are worth more than others just for the year and mint mark I assume even if in the same grade right? Which are the best ones to look for adn to pull out for grading if MS65+ of the years 1950 - 1982? Which ones would you go to to look closer at first if they all were that nice in that time frame? I don't think the 1963 poof penny or nickel are worth that much even at MS68 or better are they? Seems the business strikes for some reason bring far more if MS65+ than the proof coins of the same grade, is that true in your opinion. If you want to see pics of the MS65+ pennies I have or the 1963 Proof penny and the proof nickel (both are close to MS70) I need an email address and didn't see you had one listed to send pics to you. Any help would be appreciated. I think I need to have a group of the better pennies graded but where to start? I plan to sell most all of them in the near future once I have some values to go by, just to note. Auction companies will not sell anything that is not graded I read and I'm sure you know that. I really need help to know which ones to send in. I can get good pics of each one and have 20 prime pennies that likely need grading at least or more. Do you want to look at some of the higher grade pennies I have and maybe assist me with advice on which may be better to send in and when to send them, which company is the most fair and most respected that you would use? Thanks.

I am now addicted. Was hooked on graphene the carbon atom material, then crypto in 2014, now coins. No time to eat, sleep etc... I have a penny I found that has a finish I can not figure out. Looks so satin almost carzy like...1980 D. It was not chemically altered to the best of my knowledge as the edge is not like facing front and back. Can not find an example anywhere on internet!

So appreciate the video, as well as all your videos. I got a late start tonight, going thru penny rolls from a new bank. After the first 4 rolls I was getting po'd. Nasty not good quality pennies. Anyways, after being upset a few minutes I started back because like you said, you never know what you'll find. The rolls got better and with your informative videos I'm actually finding things. Thanks so much.

I have so many of these in oh wow 😳 condition, and unscratched but rainbowed. Actually avoided going through them because there's so many of them and I end up just admiring them instead of actually looking for anything. Maybe I should go through them. I just keep that stuff because of his copper melt value, and being in the scrap business at one time won't allow me to cash them in for a penny a piece. Don't worry I'm not going to melt them I've got plenty of copper that's not contaminated with a zinc for that, it's just a mindset won't let me get rid of them.
