The "artificial brain" probably has less memory and computing power than your cell phone. And takes up a whole room.

I’m retired from the Florida Highway Patrol and loved Phil! Always got a great laugh when I heard this theme when patrolling 😂😂

I usually don't expect much from the plots, the programs are enjoyable for what they are, but this one really makes no sense. Looks borrowed from an old Republic serial. Has no one heard of insurance? What do the crooks expect to do with the machine if there is no payoff, they really can't sell it. If the owner is insured he can tell them to just smash it and go to hell. Its like stealing a famous painting or diamond, you either settle for ransom or nothing. this was early in the public awareness of computers. BTW, do any of the old car enthusiasts recognize the truck? Is it an IH?. It looks familiar but I hvae no idaa what it is. Another BTW, there was an actual Ferris Instrument Company, but they didn't make computers. Why are these silly programs so fascinating.
