I don't know if you will ever see this, but if you do, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. My music instructor showed me this about two years ago, and it completely changed how I view music. Ever since then, my taste in music has become bigger and broader then ever. And my passion in music went from "this is a fun little pass time" to "Yeah, this is gonna be my life." And all it took was a dope cover of one of the best solos ever made. Thank you very much, and I hope you get all the wonders that you deserve.

Actually the studio solo is pretty simple...relative to the Made In Japan solo, which is a little longer and much much more interesting. This has survived and is more identifiable because it was the original...but the live version is faster and generally speaking, it kicks more ass. This in my opinion is DP at its best...LIVE is what the band was really all about and in my opinion (not everyone's I'm sure), there's just more energy there. The studio version has that ambience of the hallway it was recorded in in Montreaux...that natural room sound. I'm sure people might tend to like that version better also because it takes them right back to their young days, whereas the Made In Japan version was recorded a little later and I'm not sure but not as many people bought that album as they did Machine Head.

Daniel Rampazzo, I've heard both the version countless times and in my personal opinion, the original solo comes out on top every time. It's one of the best organ solos of all time. The tempo, the increasing and decreasing octave play progression, the power chord interludes, the crescendo..... Everything takes you to rock heaven...

Daniel Rampazzo I love both solos. The live keyboard solo, however, is more difficult to play than the original one. Faster and longer.

Unfortunately, it not. He only plays the right hand. The solo is played with tho hands in different shapes and notes. But, his job is fantastic and he’s a great musician. Just miss the left hand part.

Merci beaucoup ! Oui exactement un son de B3 avec leslie (pas au tout début du solo il me semble, il faut l'activer à partir des arpèges), et oui une bonne disto (sans que ça fasse trop fouilli, faut trouver le juste milieu !). Bon courage ;)
