You know, I just saw this Clarkson chap and I think I agree. Don’t know what the BBC was thinking about by not booking him for greater things, they’d be fools not to. Otherwise some big online company could snap him up..... I think he’s going places!

Agreed, it's his lightning-fast deadpan delivery that does it. I've seen this episode a few times now, and still basically wet myself every time at both the line and Clarkson's reaction.

I started watching Brit telly (these old recorded shows) after Trump was elected: the US "comics" are simply not funny anymore - primary school level jokes spewing hatred toward Trump. The Brits are left biased sure, but nobody is taking it that seriously... well, we'll see, now Bumble Trump is PM of the UK
