RIP Charles Kennedy. A funny, smart, likeable politician ... we'll never have one of them again.

He seemed to be a very humble and nice man. Politicians should look to him as an example of what they should be.

His integrity and wit are sadly missed. The addiction issues he lived and died with some of us well understand.

Good thing we got on top of that climate thing. Almost worked out as well as the Iraq war.

they're only just now figuring out how to monetize climate change, but don't you worry, in the next 18 months the whole world will change it's attitude toward climate change and will pay anything to make it go away.

@@RIXRADvidz How do you rate your prediction today? I don't know about Britain, but US politicians will say anything to make the issue go away (from serious public discourse), things like "If elected, I will rule as a dictator." In the face of that, climate change is slightly less terrifying, because there's a good chance he will win, and he will rule without regard to our constitution or our civil rights - or facts, of course.

Close, Steve Bannon looks like Paul Merton after he's been dead for about 2 months and decomposition is well on the way.

Mrs Richards: "I paid for a room with a view !" Basil: (pointing to the lovely view) "That is Torquay, Madam." Mrs Richards: "It's not good enough!" Basil: "May I ask what you were expecting to see out of a Torquay hotel bedroom window? Sydney Opera House, perhaps? the Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically past?..." Mrs Richards: "Don't be silly! I expect to be able to see the sea!" Basil: "You can see the sea, it's over there between the land and the sky." Mrs Richards: "I'm not satisfied. But I shall stay. But I expect a reduction." Basil: "Why?! Because Krakatoa's not erupting at the moment ?"
