I do steady state cardio, not HIIT (High intensity interval training) for Ironman training. But would do it for fat burning and health anyway. I thought explain why I think HIIT training is overrated and the benefits exaggerated in order to make it appeal to people as a quick and easy solution to those not able to commit time to exercise.
I also realise it does have lots going for it and obvious advantages so don't have a temper tantrum if it's your favourite way to exercise ;) There's no wrong way to go about staying healthy.......well, there is, but not between those two options!
