Shoutout to your awesome wife/support woman. I'm an Aussie, but find NZ one of the most amazing places in the world. Well done Cam. I found your channel because I'm doing the C2C in October. I'm 62, fit, but I wanted to know what to expect.

I was thinking of trying out TA durring November, for 3 or 4 weeks maybe, and your video really inspired me to go for it. Which sections of the trail would you reccomend if you were for only limited time? I'm doing around 25 KM a day

Wow! Going into the Tararua ranges with a dodgy leg to begin with! That must have been daunting. I'm guessing the night the hut was full was Nichols hut? Did you look at the view behind Dracophyllum hut? I know there are always gorgeous views in NZ, but IMHO, the helicopter pad behind Dracophyllum is the North Island giving its best shot at pretending to be the Milford track, looking down into a grand valley.
