Hello my outdoors friend, greetings from Northern, California. Sincere thanks for sharing another fine video. I have yet to do any hiking East of the Tetons in Wyoming. You introduced me to some of the beautiful areas in your park of the country. Wow, three Rainbows in one day. If you folks ever plan to come out West, you might consider the Eastern Sierras in the fall. The fall colors are amazing. Please take care out there, be safe and have lots of fun.

We just left Fall Creek Falls today. We chose to vacation there this year. It was about a 4 hour drive for us, as we're from west TN. We have made it a priority to visit as many state parks as possible here in our home state. You never realize the beauty in our great state until you venture out to these breathtaking locations! So far, Fall Creek Falls state park is my favorite! Thanks for sharing your experience!

Been there. Awesome place to get wet but beware the water is COLD. You can bring a float and food to make it a day. This is just one of those places that you have to spend a few days to really see it all. One day hiking, the next swimming plus they have a restaurant there.

My great grandpa and a lot of the other Bickford's owned land in the falls. The state of Tennessee bought the land from them I believe in the early 20's and made it a state park. I believe my grandpa and is older brother were both born in the falls. We used to go every year for our family reunion.

Hello again my outdoors friends. To answer your question regarding snow, during the last week. From Mammoth Mountain/Yosemite north to the Lake Tahoe area, there was up to eight feet of fresh snow. More fresh snow predicted for the next week, but not too much. If we have a mild spring and summer, there could snowpack until mid July. Right now it's just only a guess. If you like, I will be happy to share a 'snow status update' once a month. Take care out there. 🤗

At 28 33 was it hard and long to get to. Do you think kids could do it ?
@HikingwithBraids
5 жыл бұрын
Kids could absolutely do it. The part at 28:33 is pretty easy and is only less than a 1/4 mile from the parking lot. There is a set of stairs but nothing that I would say is strenuous.

In hiking, a cairn is meant to be used as a directional marker to let you know when there is a trail junction or as a marker for the highest point on the trail.
