We've come Wales to go Hiking in Snowdonia and Wild Camping at the Devil's Kitchen. Hiking in Wales is fantastic and it's more difficult than hiking in the peak district or the lakes. If you love walking up mountains then this is the place for you.
After our wild camp at Devil's Kitchen we decided to do a 6.8 mile hike up Glyder Fach and then onto Glyder Fawr, the 5th and 6th highest mountains in wales. Hiking the Glyders should be on everyone's list of uk walks. We parked in the layby just up the road from the national trust car park.

Here is my route on Strava / strava . When walking in snowdonia just be mindful that the car parks and laybys fill up fast. You can get towed if you park on the road or path.
Actual walking time excluding stop and vlogging was 2 hours 56 minutes.
This was a great route with some very steep and very tricky sections, especially the descent from Glynder Fawr towards Tryfan. I highly recommend this route.
Snow on the summit was a nice surprise and we had a great view of Snowdon too!
Check out my Day 1 video of us taking on Y Garn, the 10th highest mountain in wales and DEFINITELY check out my wild camping video at Devil's Kitchen.
