Mike, I've subbed to your channel, but how do you have only 14 subs? This is useful, quality information, mate. Map reading and navigation, pacing etc, is an art! I love it! Although, I do use a Garmin GPS 67i, I do know how to use a map and compass and keep myself up to scratch with the tools.

@@footslogger_ni that's a very nice, encouraging comment and much appreciated. Only just started doing hiking videos, so got a lot to learn about the process, trying to say something that might be of interest, editing etc. so your feedback is welcome. I don't have many videos just yet but I have a few in the pipeline. Your right about it being an art, it really adds to the fun of a hike and great satisfaction when you get it right, all the best 👍

Another interesting video Mike. Almost all of these places in your films I've been to. For someone starting your channel, it's well made, and I wish you well. That area south of the Bellavally Gap is pretty boggy and hard to judge timings on that sort of ground, but you seem to have it well sussed. Look forward to more videos as you release them. Thanks for sharing. George

Thx for taking the time to comment George, I didn't realise there were so many nice areas to hike in Leitrim until this summer and on the doorstep 😁
