Hooker Valley Track is one of the most rewarding half-day tracks in the South Island of New Zealand.
Accessible via Queenstown, Christchurch, or Tekapo. We began our journey from Tekapo via State Highway 80.
The track itself takes only about three hours to complete allowing you to take your time and stop at every possible point for photographs.
Along the way, you will pass three suspension bridges, beautiful green meadows, valleys, and wooden boardwalks. Finally, you will be rewarded with Hooker Glacier Lake with icebergs floating and rising towards Aoraki/Mt Cook - New Zealand's largest mountain.
