I decide to day-hike the longest continuous high ridge in Vermont. Fortunately, I have a helpful sis to shuttle me from the Battell trailhead to the beginning at App Gap. In retrospect, I would recommend a single pass in the opposite direction, because the southern descent of Mt Abe is challenging.
The trail was very wet due to a heavy rain the day before.
