@Hepzibahlee8440 If it wasn't a super cold trail, I probably wouldn't take a stove again. I am quite good at eating and drinking things cold. If I were to hike a cold trail, I would definitely consider a stove

I wish I’d done it when I was younger, before I became disabled. I don’t think my wheelchair could handle it!

I’m 58 and I think I have missed my opportunity to see the world… my mental energy is zero … struggle even getting out of bed each day to go to work. How amazing it must be to have the will to do this

Excellent. Even comprehending distance is hard to do. How much money did you spend on the trail? Seperate of visa and travel costs, the day to day spending for supplies etc. Also what was your average distance covered a day. I know this would fluctuate but it would interesting to hear the daily distance. Not that I'll be walking this, I just curious.

Found your channel through wild camping in UK and then this in your list, Wow, it was a surprise 😮 Haven’t watched it yet but can’t wait to. I am planning a PCT hike, was going to be 2025 now looking like 26 but who knows. I look forward to hearing what you have to say here and also watching your back catalogue of PCT hiking. ❤

Ah that's awesome! I really hope you make it to the States and start your PCT adventure - it is so different to anything we have in the UK.

Ok, first thing… who uses firelighters to start a fire!? That’s cheating 😆. Anyways, that sounds like awesome fun to have done. I could imagine the snow and autumn colours being amazing! No wonder your little adventures don’t faze you 😆. Funny you mention your a Yorkshire lass, I was gonna ask as I reckon you originated not that far from my town! Granted you wouldn’t tell with my accent now🤣🤦♂

Hi Keitei, What an amazing story, must have been a wonderful experience, thank you for sharing it with us. Does doing trips like that make you restless the rest of the time? I once met someone who had spent his life travelling and he told me he’d found it very difficult to settle, when he is in the UK he wants to be in Canada, when in Canada he wants to be with his friends in Australia etc. Cheers Graham

Hi Graham, it was a truly wonderful experience, even all the hills and mosquitoes 😊 Erm, I can get restless at times but often when I did/do travel - I found myself thinking of having a garden, cats and a base. It is finding the right balance of travel/adventure and having somewhere to call home :)
