Located in Rutherford county, this State Park offers some of North Carolina's most dramatic mountain scenery, overlooking Hickory Nut Gorge and Lake Lure. Join us as we leave our kayaks behind and take a hike on some strenuous trails to a 315 foot freestanding rock spire and then to the base of a 404 foot cascading waterfall.
