I remember when I turned 30. After having traveled through nearly 30 countries I thought it was finally time to settle down, plant some roots, grow up and figure things out. I'm now 43 years old. Never in my life have I been less stable and less sure I have things figured out.

So true, it only takes 3 days in the wilderness to see someone's true character, guaranteed. That's why I always told my daughters, if you want to truly know a man, take him out backpacking... ❤ A wonderful story, beautifully presented with charm and wit, as always, Elina. Thank you!!

Came for the hiking (tramping to Kiwis), stayed and cried Kiwi tears of joy, as Renee ditched dehydrated trail meals for the religious culinary experience that is Kiwi mince and cheese pies. It’s always a treat when you post Elina, I think this is your best trail film yet!💪

I got so excited when I saw subtitles at the beginning of the video... Would be amazing if you had them all the way through 🥲 You speak really fast and with your accent it's a bit difficult to catch everything (even for someone who spent two years in New Zealand). Still love your videos though, your filmmaking is pure art! 😍

Love your story. I can relate a little to your story. Just before I turned 30 I rushed into a relationship that soon would be a huge mistake. I was married for 9 long miserable years. What I am saying is don’t rush it. You are beautiful and a special person at heart. Make sure they check all boxes for you. After all it is your eternity of happiness. Friends will come and go all the time the older you get. That is life. Look at what you are doing now with your traimily. That is special. Hang onto that. Happy trails Elina! Yours truly “Ketchup”

As someone that turned 31 recently, this hits home. When I reflect on the past it's funny to remember where I imagined being at this age vs. the reality. Love the video!!! Fantastic storytelling.

Thx for sharing and happy birthday Tip Tap! I will be celebrating my 50th birthday in mid september. Very curious where exactly that will be, somewhere out on trail during my first thru (900km through the north of Spain, from the Pyrenees to the atlantic ocean) 😎 Like me, just keep doing your thing and never stop exploring. And everything else will be fine. As a wise American once said: "Those who give up freedom in order to gain security will end up losing both" Happy Trails 👣
