My parents always treated/talked to me like an adult, and I'm really grateful for that. Kids appreciate that kind of respect.

"So God Made a Farmer..." is one of my favorite Paul Harvey dissertations. Worth listening to.

Couldn't agree more. Living in Kansas I know these country kids. They know how to work. These young boys turn into wonderful, respectful men.❤

When I worked at a middle school in Kansas, I saw a 14yo boy drive his pickup to the campus. A colleague said youngsters who worked on family farms were allowed to drive to school.

Our 8 year old grandson is quite mature and skilled for his age at all things outdoors. He's gotten his little trucks back out and using his excavator and combine is creating a mini track and construction area in the dirt. He even showed me a 1" truck that is his "work truck" (drives to work). He has an IPad. I couldn't be more proud! 🥰

Lil Dude will be off the charts productive when he is calling the shots. Sooner rather than later is my bet. Spouting model numbers and specs like a 30 year veteran of the farming world. Props to you Lil Dude. Props.

Farmers are the heart of our country! If they disappear, the rest of the country is doom! But watching this little kid being so knowledgeable about farming and he obviously loves it brings me hope! God bless him and his family!!!

I used to work with kids like these. I treated them like adults, and they gave me respect.
