I used a 7/8" bit for 3/4" rod, 12" deep, filled until it was just full enough to overflow a hair when rod was inserted and I still was short. I used about 35% more than Hilti calculated. A small pack lasted 3 holes, not four as the HIlti chart showed. Get extra, if you run out in the middle of a job, you have problems. I am sure they would allow you to return unused, unopened packs. On another note, the RE500 is hard as steel when cured. Amazing stuff.

Try the power-sert anchors for epoxy. These inserts are so easy to install flush on the concrete.

Just used it for the first time. Doesnt go as far as you think it will using the Hilti calculations, Get a couple extra small packs or you will run if you are doing multiple installs.

This is true partly because they dont require the hole 2b filled - average is 1/2 to 2/3 full & the rod displaces the rest of the epoxy to the top. Also Hilti tests 1 size bit (average 1/16 to 1/8" larger than rod) - out in the real world, most people use up to 1/4" oversized bit....I always take about 15% less holes than the catalogue says I will get out of each tube to allow for overdrilling in diameter or depth or hitting an air pocket in the concrete. Those Germans do things so exact. :)

I think there has to be something not correct in this vid . It should be 2 types of chemical mixed in that hole , 1 grey color and another 1 pink color .

There's one mistake that you did on the video when you epoxy the whole then twister rod in 😀
