Talk given by Mr. Vasu Mohan on July 31, 2021
Hinduism is an ancient and varied religion that reflects the beliefs of the people of the Indian sub-continent. Little is known about its historical origins but what has been handed down is a faith with profound and beautiful insights. How does this grand tradition relate to God’s latest Revelation to all humanity? In this talk, Mr. Vasu Mohan tackles this question. Mr. Mohan has been engaged in work for over 20 years to promote democracy, good governance, and human rights in Asia with a focus on the empowerment of the disadvantaged. He was responsible for the IFES Women’s Legal Rights Initiative in India, and serves on the board of the Tahirih Justice Institute, a US-based organization focused on protecting immigrant women fleeing persecution and violence.
