"a la soul", taken from a concert in Vienna, 2007. Performers: Vienna JazzKlez Band, Ola Egbowon (voice), Roman Grinberg (piano & arr.), WJC - Vienna Jewish Choir
Fantastic. Some of the most beautiful and inspiring art comes from the blending of cultures and influences. If we are open to each others culture and the culture can blend so beautifully, certainly it cand teach us to live together as beautifully as well

How awesome.... great choir also. Look at God's people worshiping as one. Thanks for sharing. Tears of joy right now.

First time I hear HINE MA TOV sung in such a style. You should hear Ray Charles singing Wie Ahin Zol ikh geyn? ( Where can I go?) the Leo Fuld song. Hope to uploaded some day.

One of the coolest things I have ever heard. It appears to include Reggae as well as Soul in the arrangement and performance. Did they do Hava Nagila as well (I hope)?

Why is this still on line? I am grateful to all who have not taken the hate-bait, but I have to ask why this idiot got and has an ongoing format. Achtung, little Herman the One Eyed german...if you don't like us, you need not seek us out. This is a beautiful, joyous song that you need not ruin by putting ashes in our mouths. I think you would have other evil plans besides hugging das komputer and looking for a rousing version of "...uber allis " from your kommrades. Pls. don't be from Idaho..J

Unser Schulchor hat das viel trauriger und in einem anderen Rhythmus gesungen, was ich auch besser fand.

keep your patronizing and arogant supercessionist views to yourself. Can't someone just sing "How wonderful it is for us to Be Together" without someone trying to reinstitute the Crusades....

Hey,Boyo....it is a song, not an anthem or a Braveheart call to arms. I wish America would learn a thing or two from the Israeli Army about how to run an airport (and an airline), I wish England would give Ireland to the Irish, I wish Asshead in Syria didn't hate his own people and Koreans didn't have to eat grass.... better perspective now? The world stinks...always has/always will. Think about how really awful thing are...(but not for too long).. and then re-listen to that song. God bless.J

i do prefer it done sticking to the melody, not sung with the point of showing off the voice.
