its a holistic approach to biomechanics, you may not see specific techniques being displayed , he's just emphasising how to use your body constantly in a martial fashion , to be always ready means your body needs to be in that top notch state constantly its never a mode you can switch on and off , but rather a constant ongoing state of mind and body , many arts use this but never completely full immerse in it , systema is a well-known example of an art that focuses on body mechanics ...his approach is unorthodox and I can defintly see its forgien to you but before rendering judgment based on a 8 mins clip , take the time to research him and his system hino budo it can be applied to any combat art from boxing to aikido to jujutsu etc...his teaching is a medium to deliver your attack, not a method of attacking in itself. speaking from my experience i do not study with him constantly but i have attended some of his seminars it helped me to gain perspective on how my body can work and ultimately further enriched my own training in my own respected martial arts system. www.hinobudo-kokoro.com/venue

The secret keyword is movement. The science of everything we do. Movement is medicine for the body and movement can be deadly for the body under the right circumstances.
