This entire album shocked the metal world with its ferocity when it came out. This album put Slayer on the map in a big way. Since you are a fan of rap, this album was produced by the legendary rap producer Rick Rubin. Many metal heads of that generation (myself included) consider the next album after this, "South of Heaven", to be their greatest work and one of the greatest of all time. Back to Reign in Blood, if you listen to the opening track "Angel of Death", imagine the look on our faces when we as teenagers heard this for the first time, lol. Back in those days, it was common to listen to entire albums since digital media wasn't as common. Please do some reactions off of South of Heaven; every song is first rate metal and legendary Slayer drummer Dave Lombardo puts on a clinic throughout.

2:32 "I don't know where I've heard that riff before". If you're a South Park fan then this is the song that Cartman plays on the stage of the "Hippy Jam Fest" to discourse all the hippies after they throw a festival in south park and that riff is the main section on the episode. (S9 E2)

When you say "This is so heavy. It's perfect." And you wipe your eyes. That's exactly how I felt at 14 years old.

Sweet joy of watching a metalhead be born in 2024 makes me so happy!! I grew up to this and in some circles was hated for it but I knew even then it’s all good!! Best way to spot an idiot is letting them tell and show you themselves Lolz that’s wisdom son!!
