When my son was 15 (in 1994), he came in one day telling me about a song he had just heard & asked, "Have you heard of Supertramp?" I walked into my bedroom & handed him this album. He asked, "When did you get this?" My response was, "The year you were born." Great music lasts for generations.

The genre has been called progressive pop, progressive rock, soft rock and a couple other variations. If I would guess as to why people would recommend this for your "rock" reaction channel is that we've seen you blown away by such a wide range of music from the era, and this is one more example of great music from the era. You have really come to appreciate true fine musicianship, composition and more over something just technically being "rock."
