In some countries it works when you don't hunt them, the government want to protect them and actually do protect them. In Africa it just doesn't happen like that. The continent is just too big, we need private individuals to help.

Damm, Nice Kill & persistent shooting! But, why would you kill an animal that’s over 80+ years old? The ecosystem could manage on its own.. it has survived for centuries without the help of humans. I personally think we should’nt control/kill these animals these are the layers of our ecosystem..
@AfricanSunProductions

Good day, and thanks for the comment. I agree, the ecosystem should manage itself like it did for centuries. Unfortunately there are too many factors messing with the balance, throwing it of. Sometimes nature needs help and that is where controlled hunting programs come it. This isn't just random shootings.

@AfricanSunProductions
Good question TF. It depends on the country. Some tribes will eat the meat, others will not. In this specific area not many people eat croc. We took some for camp, and some was used at a local Vulture Restaurant. Here endangered vultures have a safe place to eat and live. If they are well fed here they don't go to poisoned carcasses.

Humans have intervened in their space, for sure, and those humans destroy everything. This is the reason we need the right humans to interfere again, but with a plan that actually INCREASES wildlife numbers. That is what we do. And no, it's not illegal it's actually controlled and supported by our wildlife department and nature conservation department. I accept your apology in advance.

Hi Tushar. No, controlled hunting isn't only legal, it's the best way to protect these animals. Hunting a few selected animals bring in enough funding to protect the land the animals live on. Protect the habitat and the animals can increase in numbers. The funding also pays for anti-poaching units to patrol.
