omg finally a neon vod which is my rank and has all of my same problems this is a LIFE SAVER i am always so indecisive and lost
@SloppyMagician
7 ай бұрын
The easiest and fastest way to fix this problem is by watching pro vods. The issue that you have stems from not having a plan of what you’re gonna do before the round starts, so you make it up on the fly. Find a pro player and watch vods from them on each map and try to copy what they do. Their setups, the way they hold sites, all that. And once you start to have a game plan on how to play the map you wont be nearly as indecisive anymore. Hope this helps man.

@@slxcy.I mean his mechanics aren't bad. He had good gun fight hygiene. His decision making was just ADHD. Which he likely reins it in at times, that's why he climbs. @@Microtardz yeah idk what he was on. But this shouldn’t be acceptable anymore in PLAT. Completely understandable if you are Silver or beneath. I believe when Omen said "Only 2 B-Main" he meant to comm "Only 2 A-Main" because he first commed "2 A-Main," peaks, dies while spotting two, then comms "Only 2 B-Main." I believe it is fair to assume the Neon here thought she was peaking into two players, which is still a bad decision, but a much less grevious one then intentionally peaking into a five stack.

I think he's got an extreme bad variant of an issue I have where I try to be tricky by intuition maybe? Like I haven't been playing much recently, but yesterday I caught myself being backsite A main Icebox behind a viper wall while the enemies were exec'ing (and my team was like 3 mid 1 B)... I felt like their jett or someone was going to wrap around and fight me (and I hate being in the corner by that box under rafters so for whatever reason my brain says let's swing thru the viper wall into like 3 people because they'd never expect that right? For me I'm usually not doing that (at least when I'm playing consistently), but it seems like he just doesn't have any real sense of what's going on and just trying to be vaguely "tricky" by trying to be in weird places fast because he's Neon and that's what Neons do? He does kinda switch it up sometimes between like flanking starting mid or flanking starting A or inting I mean flanking starting B... Maybe he just really thinks as Neon he should flank/push every single round and tries to switch up location of the flank and thinks they won't expect it?
@dspr584
7 ай бұрын
that but he's just overthinking situations that could happen in theory but when you factor in elements like positioning, and just general consensus of awareness throughout you can learn to deduct and just decide to not overcommit or to stop taking risky plays. In short he overthinks what could happen in the slightest possible margin but ofc they dont happen because firstly the elo, the timings, and all the variances that come in between.

I think this guy autopilots and never thinks about consequences or risk to reward of his actions. I've seen so many people including myself if I'm tired etc. make similar mistakes from subconscious decision making. I don't think he's that bad if he thinks before he does things because his mechs are mostly decent and he knows the basics from close to 1000hrs of playtime he just needs to implement them or make gameplans / flowcharts.

Edit: Didn't realise it was plat gameplay. Tbf I am so low everything above silver looks radiant to me. I wish people get real. At low elo, its really hard to think. Even if you had plans before, you forget once the round starts. And this will happen until you force yourself to think but then you aim will suffer. Its just a struggle until we become comfortable. Of course getting coached / playing regularly means you should be able to start thinking quicker. But it requires a certain level of comfort with rest of the mechanics. I am bronze 1, but what I just said is not game specific, its the same for single player games. Hollow knight or dead cells for example, there is a certain nuances to positioning yourself in boss fights and rooms with lot of enemies. But you cant think about it if you are thinking about when your dash cool down gets over. Such mechanic thoughts should be instinctive. Now let me watch the video and feel good about myself 😂
