Youthman, a buddy of mine just told me about a projector named AWOL, model 3500. So i happened to check it out. WOW! I’m sure you being the aficionado, you have heard of it. If you have, what do you think?

Great review. You know alot of people look down on Hisense as a cheap bargin basement brand. I aint one of those people. They are coming on strong in the tv market and they keep getting better year after year. Now I own the legendary C1 as I call it and after owning the LG B10 OLED and now my C1 I will never go back to LED but if I was to I would definitely look seriously at Hisense because they are becoming a major player.

I just bought this TV from best buy, got it on mothers day sale price of 1499$, and paid like 350$ for an extended 5 year warranty. I upgraded from an old Vizio M series 70 inch 4 K model from like 8 years ago. All I can say is this TV is more than I bargained for. I have computers on all my TV's because I usually hate TV built in OS. However the google android software is awesome and streaming from my network server is seamless, it even has voice control. The 4K movies look amazing on plex. I have an optoma UHD55 projector / with 133 inch screen set up in the same room and I still find myself wanting to watch the TV. HDR content is so vibrant and gaming is beautiful on this thing. Hisense has really brought affordable competition to the market. Do not overpay for those oled screens. These are half to 1/3 the price and give 85 - 95 % of the Oled experience. The mini LED revolution is here and eventually they will all have to drop there prices due to market competition. Happy Fathers to all the dads, treat yourself if you work hard, you deserve it.

Divide the cost of whatever tv you're actually wanting by 12, or even 24 to save up to buy it in a year or two. Delayed gratification brother, if you're willing to wait until you have enough money, you can have literally whatever the heck you want. Surprisingly enough, your income has almost nothing to do with what you can buy. All about saving and your mindset. Don't limit yourself to a 1080p Sharp TV from the recycle bin that you fixed because that's all you think you can afford... you got this!

@@danielnorat4131 Thank you! That is good advice and a great way to lead a financial life. Unfortunately I didn't follow that practice long ago. It's far too late for my financial recovery and I may to attempt to sell most of my belongings and learn to enjoy my car as my home. Most say I'm too smart to be this broke, but do to many factors here I am. Punishment for being lazy, dumb, ignorant, worthless, to afraid to charge my customers 1/2 of what others in my biz do, etc...... is all I deserve. Knowing that so many others on this planet have it much worse than most of us do keeps me making a feeble attempt at embetterment, most days. I give what I can and ask little or nothing in return. I wish everyone all the very best - you deserve it.

I have really been wanting to upgrade my TV. I have (and love) a 2012 Panasonic Plasma 1080P, one of the last ones made and was a $3k tv back then. The big thing I'm afraid of is the blooming. I would love to go OLED but not sure I can swing it. I just don't want to be disapointed with an LED.

I went from 50" to 85" ... and now i'm shocked from a distance 9 feet. Specialy if the content is in 16:9 format, it's too huge. Also the regular programs are very blury from that distance. Only HD movies in 21:9 format are great. So i regret i didn't choose 75" TV instead. I also watch a lot of sports and shows, which are all in 16:9. Sport and some of the shows are also broadcasted in low bit rate content (1080i), which is not ideal for such a huge TV.

In all honesty, you are the first person that I have ever heard in the past six years of making content on KZitem that said they felt they went too large. I’m 9’ from 150” diagonal and do not feel it’s too large. I often ask guests that come over to my home if they feel it’s too large or if they feel they are too close and they say absolutely not. They love the immersion of it.

@@Youthman I using iPhone was Made In China, but you guy need to know more the difference between “Chinese Brand” and “Made In China” - Chinese brands own by Chinese companies. - Made in China are products made in China but not necessarily owned by China companies. For example: iPhone i using made in China but owned buy American company called Apple. American design and control the product. So what is the risk of using Chinese Brand: Chinese doesn’t have democracy form of government, their products can be spy buy using software or micro chip were designed to get your information without disclosure. But not all the cases. This is My priority: ( you guy might have different) 1. American products, brand owned buy American company 2. American friendly allies: Japan, German, SKorea … 3. Neutral Countries products 4. China products owned buy Chinese companies. I’m happy to debate with you guy.
