Thank you for including a more mainstream TV in your reviews. I'm sure most viewers wish to own the biggest and the best, but reality and budgets sometimes dictate otherwise. I appreciate your efforts to do a thorough review yet keep it brief. I'm sure that's not easy. Cheers!

Finally the u6n review I recently purchased one and waited to see a review of it it really is the budget king right now and who would know it would beat similar priced options from major brands like Samsung I do think it’s gonna be one of the higher selling budget models of the year in terms of Hisense TVs

My U6K purchased a few months ago has the exact same QC issue with a spec of black debris stuck between the panel and outer layer. It's not noticeable in most situations unless I'm looking for it, but still disappointing.

I wish I wasn't a tv snob as I could save myself a lot of money. Just the other day I was in a golf shop where they had a cheap Vizio tuned to a PGA tour event and the picture looked great. It was just a 42" size so that may have had something to do with it. Lager sizes can show picture quality issues more. If I was in the market for a tv now I would probably buy either the U7K or the U8K if still available and call it a day. Or wait on this year's model's price to drop and buy one of those. A U6 model would be more than good enough for my bedroom.

Well I have been giving considerable thought to the 75” U6N but because of the poor performance and viewing angles I may look at another option. This is good timing because it saves me from buyer’s remorse. I love Sony televisions but the good models are pushing $2000.00. Maybe I’ll think about the Bravia 3 series.

Is Sony entry level tv like Bravia 3 better than hisenens and TCL premium tv ?
@SAKEWCW
20 күн бұрын
No, Bravia 3 does not compete against TCL and Hisense premium TV's, it can compete with TCL Q6 and maybe even this Hisense U6N. Bravia 3 doesn't have local dimming, the brightness is around 500 nits, 43" 55" and 75" sizes according to Rtings has IPS panels that with the lack of local dimming make the TV looks terrible in dark scenes because the native contrast from the IPS. For gaming Bravia 3 doesn't support VRR, 1440p or 120hz. The only PRO that Bravia 3 has is the image processing.
@thatsamazin-

In order to beat TCL Qm8 or Hisense U8N, you have to look to Sony’s premium tier which is Bravia 8, 9, and A95L.
@SAKEWCW

@@thatsamazin- Some people associates the price with the quality, they think because the Sony Bravia 3 is around 1000 dollars or more is because is at the same tier than TCL or Hisense premium TV's.

@@thatsamazin-the x90l competes very well with Hisense and tcl. It might only be local dimming instead of mini led but it has amazing color and the processing is much better than the tcl and Hisense.
@thatsamazin-
19 күн бұрын
@@peanuty9291 It’s a solid tv but I think I would aim slightly higher for the x95l if I was trying to “beat” the Qm8 or U8N at a reasonable price. It seems to compete a little better than the x90l on the rtings reviews.

OK it’s Sept 2024 I need a 4K 55’ TV for my parents. They’re not particularly worried about the picture but they want decent sound budget around $500 obviously Samsung and other brands being considered what do you recommend 55 inch. They don’t care about the TVs operating system. We never use it just plug in an Apple TV. Who cares?

Is it possible for some people to be susceptible to VA panels? Finally bought my first 4k tv the TCL C755 and I can't watch it. No matter what setting I choose or setting I tweak. If it can't do 4K120 then it is not suitable for gaming. Very disappointing to see such a competent HDR display so horribly hamstrung.
